‘Biggest fight ever!’ Queen Camilla gives King Charles divorce ultimatum

Queen Camilla allegedly gave King Charles a divorce ultimatum according to reports

The Queen of England, Camilla Parker Bowles has recently given her husband, King Charles a divorce ultimatum according to a new report, per Radar. The report alleges she forbade King Charles’ estranged son Prince Harry from seeing his father or staying at any royal property without an appointment. However, King Charles was “blindsided” and Queen Camilla “took matters into her own hands.” She is allegedly working behind the scenes to make sure that King Charles’ legacy remains unaffected by Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s accusations.

This comes after the claims of King Charles being “very jealous” of Prince William and Princess Kate for “stealing his limelight.” According to a royal author King Charles has reached a compromise so that he is able to get attention as well. “He’s worked out a deal now, whereby William and Kate can have an allotted percentage of the limelight,” royal author Clive Irving said.

However, some insiders suggested that Queen Camilla is working to ensure peace, according to The National Enquirer. Their sources allege “Camilla is the power behind the throne!” and she demanded the king to “man up.” When King Charles confessed to “being guilt-ridden for not being a good dad to Harry as a boy, she took control.” When Prince Harry was invited to the coronation, Queen Camilla was allegedly furious and agreed with Prince Williams that he and Megan should have been banished from the kingdom instead, as per Radar.

On the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death, Prince Harry received the invitation to stay in Balmoral, as a kind gesture from the king but he refused due to his busy schedule and made a secret visit to Queen Elizabeth’s grave in Windsor.

Israel-Hamas Conflict Day 5 LIVE Updates | Israeli Military Reports Elimination of Over 1,000 Gaza Infiltrators

President Joe Biden is swiftly sending his top diplomat to Israel in a critical mission aimed at demonstrating unwavering U.S. support following major terrorist attacks orchestrated by Hamas militants. The State Department announced this on Tuesday, with Secretary of State Antony Blinken scheduled to depart on Wednesday and expected to arrive in Israel on Thursday.

As the conflict escalates, Israeli troops have been engaged in clashes with more than 1,000 Palestinian gunmen who infiltrated from Gaza. These incursions began over the weekend and have prompted Israeli forces to reinforce all communities within the country as hostilities extend to other fronts, according to the military’s statement on Wednesday. Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the chief military spokesperson, highlighted that among the targets destroyed in Gaza during the Israeli counter-offensive was an advanced aircraft tracking system.

Meanwhile, President Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu engaged in a phone call on Tuesday, focusing on discussions regarding U.S. military support for Israel in the wake of the attacks carried out by Hamas. They have agreed to continue their dialogue in the coming days, as conveyed by the White House.

In the latest operational update from the Israeli Defense Forces, it was reported that more than 1,000 Israelis have tragically lost their lives in the ongoing conflict with Hamas, surpassing the previous count of 900 casualties. Additionally, over 2,800 Israelis have been injured, and the IDF has struck 2,294 Hamas targets, as per an update at 10:00 pm (1900 GMT) on Tuesday. Space Agency Chief’s Big Statement On Chandrayaan-3 Landing

The entire design of the lander Vikram’ has been made in a manner that makes sure that it would be able to handle failures, Mr Somanath said during a talk on Chandrayaan-3: Bharat’s Pride Space Mission’.

Bengaluru: Vikram, the lander of India’s third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3, will be able to make a soft-landing on the Moon’s surface on August 23 even if all the sensors and two of its engines do not work, ISRO chairman S Somanath said on Tuesday.

The entire design of the lander ‘Vikram’ has been made in a manner that makes sure that it would be able to handle failures, Mr Somanath said during a talk on ‘Chandrayaan-3: Bharat’s Pride Space Mission’, hosted by the non-profit organisation Disha Bharat.

“If everything fails, if all the sensors fail, nothing works, still it (Vikram) will make a landing. That’s how it has been designed — provided that the propulsion system works well,” Mr Somanath said.

Chandrayaan-3 blasted into Space on July 14 and it entered into lunar orbit on August 5. There will be three more de-orbiting manoeuvres — exercises to bring it closer to the Moon so that Vikram lands on the Moon’s surface on August 23.

These de-orbiting manoeuvres will be performed on August 9, August 14, and August 16 till its orbit reduces to 100 kmx100 km from the Moon, Mr Somanath said.

A lander propulsion module separation exercise will be taken up subsequently, soon after lander “deboost”, a process that slows down the craft. It will be followed by landing on lunar surface on August 23, he explained.

“We have also made sure that if two of the engines (in Vikram) don’t work this time also, it will still be able to land,” the ISRO chairman said.

“So the whole design has been made to make sure that it (Vikram) should be able to handle many failures, provided the algorithms work properly,” he added.

The biggest challenge before the ISRO team, according to him, is to make a horizontal ‘Vikram’ land vertically on the lunar surface.

Mr Somanath said once the lander separates from the orbiter, it will move horizontally. Through a series of manoeuvres, it will be brought to a vertical stance in order to land safely on the Moon.

This exercise is crucial, as ISRO failed to get its lander to touchdown safely on the Moon’s surface during the Chandrayaan-2 mission.

“The ability to transfer from horizontal to vertical direction is the trick we have to play here. Here only we had the problem last time,” Mr Somanath pointed out.

The challenge is also to make sure that the fuel consumed is lesser, the distance calculations are correct and all the algorithms work properly, the ISRO chief said.

However, the ISRO team this time has made arrangements to ensure that Vikram makes an attempt to land property even if there are some variations in the calculations, Mr Somanath explained.

According to him, the lander will have four payloads: Chandra’s Surface Thermo Physical Experiment (ChaSTE) will carry out the measurements of thermal properties of lunar surface near polar region.

RAMBHA-LP payload will measure the near surface plasma (ions and electrons) density and its changes with time; Laser Retroreflector Array from NASA for accurate positioning measurement of the lander on lunar surface by future orbiters; and Instrument for Lunar Seismic Activity.

The rover named ‘Pragyan’ will have three payloads: The Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) will determine the elemental composition of lunar soil and rocks around the lunar landing site.

The Alpha Particle X-Ray Spectrometer (APXS) payload will derive the chemical composition and infer mineralogical composition to further enhance our understanding of the lunar surface.

Spectro-polarimetry of Habitable Planet Earth (SHAPE) is an experimental payload in Pragyan to study the spectro-polarimetric signature of the habitable planet Earth in the near-infrared (NIR) wavelength range.

“You Killed Bharat Mata In Manipur”: Rahul Gandhi Attacks Centre

Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the Prime Minister over the ongoing unrest in Manipur which has claimed over a hundred lives.

New Delhi: The BJP has murdered India in Manipur, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said in Lok Sabha today during the debate on the no-confidence motion against Narendra Modi government.

The remark sparked a huge uproar in the House, with senior ministers demanding Mr Gandhi’s apology for making the remark.

Earlier, in a scathing attack on Prime Minister Modi, Mr Gandhi questioned why he had not visited Manipur, where ongoing unrest has claimed over a 100 lives in the past two months.

“India is a voice, a voice of the heart. You have killed that voice in Manipur. You have murdered Bharat Mata in Manipur. You are traitors. My mother is sitting here. The other mother, Bharat Mata, you killed her in Manipur. That is why Prime Minister does not visit Manipur. You are not protectors of Bharat Mata, you are her killer,” Mr Gandhi said.

“The Prime Minister has not gone to Manipur because he doesn’t consider it a part of India. You (BJP) have divided Manipur,” Mr Gandhi said, amid loud protests from the treasury benches.

Mr Gandhi said that when he set out on the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu to Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, he was confident of his fitness and did not expect it to be difficult. “But this country does not tolerate arrogance. Within a few days, an old injury resurfaced and I was in pain,” he said.

The Congress leader recounted how he derived strength and courage from the people he met during the march and also felt their pain and hardship.

Amit Shah To Speak Today, No-Trust Motion Debate Enters Day 2

No-Trust Debate: The Opposition, which has brought the No-Confidence Motion despite lacking in numbers, admitted that it was a method to compel the Prime Minister to speak on Manipur.

New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah are likely to speak in parliament today as the debate on the No-Confidence Motion — moved by the Congress against the BJP-led Central government — entered Day 2.

Here are the top 10 updates on this big story

The Opposition, which has brought the No-Confidence Motion despite lacking in numbers, admitted that it was a method to compel Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speak on Manipur, which has dominated the monsoon session of parliament.

Rahul Gandhi, who was reinstated in parliament yesterday, is addressing parliament. Earlier, reports had claimed that the senior Congress leader would start the debate on the no-confidence motion backed by the Opposition bloc INDIA. But when the House met, it was Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi who initiated the debate.

Union Ministers — Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitharaman, Smriti Irani and Jyotiraditya Scindia are expected to speak in Lok Sabha today. Kiren Rijiju, who participated in the debate yesterday, said the Opposition will regret bringing the No-Confidence Motion because it comes at the “wrong time and the wrong manner”, given India’s current stature in the world.

The Prime Minister will reply to the debate on Thursday. He chaired the BJP’s Parliamentary Party meeting yesterday ahead of the big vote. Taking a swipe at the INDIA alliance, the Prime Minister reportedly said that this is not a vote to express distrust in the government, but to see who can trust whom in the opposition. “It’s a test of their own internal trust,” he reportedly said.

In recent weeks, PM Modi has frequently attacked the opposition bloc for calling itself INDIA, accusing the parties, particularly the Congress, of attempting a rebranding to whitewash their past record as the former UPA or United Progressive Alliance.

Gaurav Gogoi said ‘INDIA’ was forced to bring the No-Confidence Motion against the government to break Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “vow of silence” on Manipur. He alleged that a government which talks about “one India” has created “two Manipurs — one living in the hills and the other in the valley”.

Home Minister Amit Shah, during a discussion on the Delhi Services bill on Monday, accused the Opposition of running away from a debate on Manipur. “The question is Manipur situation and what steps the government is taking there, not a show of strength by voting. If you want voting, I dare you to make this bill fall through voting,” Mr Shah said.

The session, which started on July 20, has been continually disrupted by Opposition protests. The opposition contends that in view of the 170-plus deaths, injuries and displacements of thousands of people since the ethnic violence broke out in May, there is nothing more urgent that can demand the Prime Minister’s attention.

The government has argued that after major violence took place in Manipur in 1993 and 1997, no statement was made in the Parliament in one case and in the other, the junior home minister had given a statement.

The Lok Sabha currently has 539 members who will vote in the motion, of which the majority mark will be 270. The BJP alone has 301, while its allies have had 31 more votes. The opposition INDIA alliance has 143 while parties like KCR’s BRS, YS Jagan Reddy’s YSRCP, and Naveen Patnaik’s BJD have a combined strength of 70. YSRCP (22) and BJD (12) are also expected to back the government.
